One of the most exciting recent additions to our capabilities is our 5-axis department, which allows us to produce parts that were previously impossible with conventional machining techniques. This department opens new possibilities for creating complex, multi-plane parts with greater efficiency and precision.

Like our 3-axis and lathe departments, our 5-axis machines seamlessly integrate into our multi-step process, often handling intricate operations that complement other stages of production. With our Mazak 5-axis machines, we now have the ability to perform simultaneous 5-axis machining, which enables us to complete challenging geometries in a single setup, reducing lead times and ensuring the highest level of accuracy.

Our 5-axis machines handle stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, and advanced composites, making them ideal for industries like aerospace and medical where complexity and precision are critical. Combined with our grinding and CNC milling capabilities, the 5-axis department represents the cutting edge of innovation at Machine Center, allowing us to push the limits of what’s possible.

Our 3-Axis Milling department consistently produces high-quality parts, often as part of a multi-step process to create complex components. With Mazak mills and a talented team of machinists, we work with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, castings, composites, and a variety of plastics to meet the demands of numerous industries.

One of our most valuable capabilities is having multiple complementary processes under one roof. Our mills frequently perform 2nd and 3rd operations on parts that originated in our CNC lathes, or they start components that will be completed in the lathes or grinding departments. This integration allows us to streamline production and ensure the highest precision across all steps of the manufacturing process.

Our Lathe Department operates with six Mazak turning centers, running 24 hours a day, six days a week to meet production demands. We produce high-quality parts in a variety of materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, steel, plastics, and castings.

A hallmark of our company is our ability to grind extreme close tolerance parts for tooling and machinery applications. Our grinding department is the final step in the process for many of our projects before delivery to our customers. We’re equipped with a full compliment of surface grinders and ID/OD cylindrical grinders, including a OKAMOTO cylindrical grinder that increases our capacity and enhances our capabilities. One of the world’s leading machine tool builders relies on Machine Center for mission critical parts and tooling components that are used on their machines. Our ability to start production in our CNC lathes and CNC mills, then deliver a finely crafted group of parts to heat treat, then finish the parts in our grinding shop is a cornerstone of our production capability.
